Zoroastrianism

“Good Thoughts, Good Words, Good Deeds” Almost 4,000 years ago, in a language as old as Sanskrit, the Prophet Zarathushtra (Zoroaster) gives us this simple moral code. He tells us that God is not a God of War but a God of Life and Wisdom and that this Wisdom is the underlying Order of the Universe that creates all things. Zarathushtra teaches us to reject blood sacrifice and elaborate ritual in favor of Prayer, Meditation and Progressive Action. Though his message is more ancient than Western Civilization, He advocates principles that are modern in scope: Equality of All Men and Women, Liberty, Freedom of Choice, Care for the Earth and Democratic Society. True Happi¬ness lies in the Light of Progress; Spiritual, Mental, Scientific and Social. This we achieve through Progressive Action translated as Righteousness for the sake of Righteousness alone.
